Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), is a perennial herb belonging to the Poaceae family. It originates from tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, including India, Sri Lanka and Thailand, and has been cultivated and used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine and other traditional medicinal practices for a wide range of ailments.

ADMINISTRATION:

» For internal use, diluted with honey or cooking oil:

Adults: 2-3 drops 2 times a day. The dose is mixed in a teaspoon of honey (diabetics: a quarter teaspoon of cooking oil). It is used for 7-14 days.
It can be repeated after a 2-week break.

» For internal use, in empty vegetable capsules:

Administration in capsules allows for better assimilation of the oils, as they reach directly into the stomach where they act at the gastric level.
